Hello, my name is Mr. Robinson and I am the new intramural sports coordinator for this year. We are anticipating a great amount of participation in our available sports for the fall season. Please pass along the following information to your students.
Our available sports are the following:
- Flag Football: End of October
- Volleyball tournament: Mid-November (Available to both boys and girls divisions)
*** BEFORE YOU CAN REGISTER TO PLAY*** You and your teammates will need to have a physical on file with the athletic department. Any individual and/or team that does not have a physical submitted WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE.***
TEAM REGISTRATION: Team registration can now be submitted. For Flag football, teams can have a roster of 10 players total, and a maximum of 3 total coaches, and all teams must have a designated Captain who will be their point of contact for all information.
All players must be on the roster and have the following information: name, year, email address, and team name. Reminder, no football players can play flag football, they can however coach if they choose (All team names will be reviewed by the Intramural coordinators and can be subject to change if deemed necessary).
ALL ROSTERS INCLUDING COACHES MUST BE SUBMITTED BY 10/22 at the latest via an email to Mr. Robinson.
SCHEDULE: Once all the rosters are submitted, the schedule will be generated. Flag football will be played on Tuesdays & Thursdays starting at ~6:30-9:00 (subject to change if necessary).
COSTS: The costs this year for Intramurals will be $7.00 per player. Money is due by the first games of the season.
**CAPTAINS MEETING** Every team must have at least 2 members attend a meeting with Mr. Robinson on Monday 10/23 in the BAC during seminar to discuss rules and procedures for the intramural season.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact myself, Mr. Robinson, via email: arobinson@stmarysprep.
Your son or daughter can also visit my rooms (Prep 303 or Upper Level of the Library, room 2) before/after school or during my seminar hour (Prep 303). Thank you and I look forward to a great time.
Sincerely,
Mr. Robinson
